In 2007, the Helios clinic was accredited by ANM (National Authority fr Medicine) to participate in clinical studies to test the efficiency of medicines. So far we have participates in 4 such studies and we are currently running the 5th. GSK, a company based in Belgium that develops these studies and monitors them at the same time, operates all over the world, selecting sites (private clinics) in accordance with specific quality criteria. From these selected countries, Romania is represented, among other clinics, by SCM Helios from Craiova. Through this participation, the clinic has the responsibility to ensure the quality of both the medical act and the professionalism of the medical personnel involved.
